How the job search tool works
You know when you go to Google and type something you want to know? For find job vacancies, you do almost the same thing. Just type in keywords related to the type of job you're looking for, like “teaching jobs” or “chef jobs,” and then add your city. Then, just press Enter.
After searching, you will notice that, in addition to the normal results, a box full of job listings appears. That’s “Google Jobs”! It brings together vacancies from several different companies and job sites, showing you a lot of cool options.
And there's more: you can refine this search. As? With the filters! They are right there, helping you choose whether you want to see full-time, part-time, distance learning positions… up to how much you want to earn. This makes it easier to find the job that suits you.
Did you find a lot of interesting options? Time to explore! By clicking on the vacancies, you will see more details: what you need to apply for, what the job is like, the possible salary and where the company is located. Some allow you to send your resume right there, via Google.
The cool thing is that vacancies on “Google Jobs” are always fresh. Google keeps an eye on job sites, on company pages and other places on the internet where vacancies are published, and updates everything quickly.
Did you like a vacancy? You can save to look later or apply directly! If you choose to apply, Google takes you to the website that published the vacancy so you can finalize everything there.
