It's time to give that shine on your resume and stand out from the crowd! Today we're going to share valuable tips and simple strategies for you to create a resume that catches the attention of recruiters.

Whether you are a young person looking for your first job, a professional looking for new opportunities or someone in a career transition, having a well-designed CV is the first step to opening doors to the job market.

Let's talk about how you can organize your experiences, skills and achievements in a clear and objective way, in addition to giving that special touch that can make all the difference. Ready to create a resume that will put you ahead of the competition? So, let's go!

What is the ideal structure for an effective resume?

Start with your name and contact information at the top, such as phone and email. This way, anyone looking will immediately know who you are and how to get in touch.

Afterwards, many people like to include a professional objective or summary. Here, you write a sentence or two about your career goals and what you're looking for in the position you're applying for. This helps give context about yourself and shows what you want to achieve.

Next, you list your professional experience, starting with your most recent job and going to your oldest. For each job, include the company name, your title, the dates you worked there, and a brief description of your responsibilities and achievements. This shows your professional trajectory and what you learned along the way.

After experience comes education. List where you studied, what degrees you earned and when. If you have additional education, such as courses or certificates, that are relevant to the job, include those as well.

Then you can add a section to skills and competencies. Here, highlight skills that are especially relevant to the job. This may include technical skills, such as knowledge of specific programs, or interpersonal skills, such as leadership or teamwork.

Some people also like to include additional sections, such as awards and recognition, special projects, or volunteer work. These sections can show a little more about who you are and what you value.

Keep everything clear and concise. Use topics to list information and keep descriptions brief. The important thing is that it is easy to read and that the most important information stands out.

With a simple and organized structure, your resume will showcase your qualities in the best way possible.

How do I highlight my personal information?

Anyone who reads your resume should see the personal information right away. Generally, you start with your full name in letters that are a little larger than the rest of the text so that it stands out well.

Just below or next to your name, include your phone number and email address. Make sure this information is correct and up to date, because this is how employers will contact you.

And if you have one Professional Profile on social networks, such as LinkedIn, or an online portfolio, you can include the links as well.

Just don't forget that everything you share will be seen by the employer, so make sure everything is presentable and professional.

An important tip is not to include very personal information, such as identity number, CPF, or marital status. This information is not necessary and may even be risky to share.

The important thing is that the employer knows who you are and how to easily contact you. By keeping personal information simple, clear and easy to find, you'll start your resume on the right foot.

Tips for writing a clear objective suitable for the position you are looking for

Write a clear objective Your resume is like giving an employer a virtual handshake. It shows who you are and what you want. The first tip is to be specific. Instead of saying something generic like “I want a job that allows me to grow,” say exactly what type of position and field you are looking for.

For example, “I am looking for a marketing assistant position where I can use my communication skills and social media experience.”

The second tip is to show how you can help the company. Think about what’s special about you and how that fits into the role.

If the position is for a salesperson, for example, you might say, “I want to use my persuasion skills and sales experience to increase my company’s customer base and revenue.”

Third, it is important align your goal with the company's values and goals. Do some research on the company beforehand and try to understand what they value. If the company is known for being innovative, you might include a sentence about coming up with new and creative ideas.

And keep your objective concise. Two or three sentences are enough to express what you want and how you fit into the position.

With these tips, your goal will be like a light signal on your CV, showing employers that you are exactly what they are looking for.
