How to consult the PIS?

With the PIS number in hand, you need to know that it is the same number as the NIS (Social Identification Number) and the NIT (Worker Identification Number). These numbers can be found on the work card, on the FGTS statement, on the citizen card, and on the CNIS website.
If you don't know what your NIS is, just access the CNIS website (cnisnet.inss.gov.br) and click on the “citizen” icon. In the top left corner, click on the registration tab and then on affiliate. Fill in the requested information and click continue. A lilac band will appear with the NIT number in red. This is your PIS number. Write it down.
In the case of deceased people, heirs can withdraw the PIS benefit at any time, without having to follow the calendar established by the government. To do this, the heir must go to the CEF and take identification documents, the holder's death certificate and a court order designating him as successor.

How to withdraw PIS money?
If you did not withdraw the benefit in previous years, you can do so in 2023, in which case payments can be requested from March 31st, in person, by email, by phone or via an app.
If you choose to withdraw in person, you must go to one of the MTP (Ministry of Labor and Social Security) service units. On the official website you will be able to check the addresses in each state.
When receiving assistance, the beneficiary must request the opening of an administrative appeal to remit the amounts to the CEF if they work in a private company or to Banco do Brasil if they are a public employee.
If requesting by email, the request must be made to the [email protected]. The letters uf must be replaced by the acronym of your state.
